Guided by the light of your North star,

Told you all my secrets and showed you ever scar,

And still you stood there where you are,

Never afraid to show me love,

Even though you’re so far above

You gave me body and soul,

Before I ever knew God I knew you

My dearest Star in Dark.

You showed me the template for strength for when I felt weak

I know you care about me,

No matter how hard it gets in the dark I’ll never give up,

You died for me so I’ll live for you,

I try not to think about it too much,
